In this piece, the film is rematerialized and reworked to challenge the illusion of continuous motion. The recycled clip is chosen from the movie Wind Will Carry Us (2000), directed by Abbas Kiarostami, whose films are known for their haunting landscapes is recycled. Exaptation (I) denotes the recycled film is no longer a straightforward vehicle to convey a story, but instead depicts a fictionalized landscape, forcing the audience to grapple with the physical working parts (materialities) of the film rather than its content.
